    Achieving Success

We are rewarded in accordance with the amount of service we provide for others. Zig Ziglar says that we will get what we want if we help others get what they want. Jesus said we are to give first to others, then that gift will be multiplied back to us in abundance (Luke 6:38). The reverse is also true that if we are stingy, we will get very little. If we are generous, we will reap a bountiful harvest. (2 Cor. 9:6).

So if we are wanting a larger house, a bigger salary or more friends, we must increase the amount of service to others or give our friends more of our attention. The one we give service to or attention to will probably not be the one who blesses us with generosity, kindness or friendship. For the return, we must trust the Infinite One to direct that.

Since being just a little more friendly or doing just a little more service than required doesn’t work, we should double the amount. We are speaking here of service to others, not to get paid for the service we render.

So our road to success depends on how liberal we are to those we meet. Give liberally and God will multiply that extras effort back to us in due time.
