    Visualize Your Goal

The farm boy who shot at nothing and hit it received very little pleasure. The joy comes when we have a short term goal and in a week or month reach it. The greatest fulfillment is the goal we worked toward over half a lifetime to reach. This goal should be a God sized dream; we could never reach it without divine guidance and help. It might be to become CEO of a company, owner-operator or sell a million copies of our writings.

If we keep the goal in the forefront of our mind, it will keep us from following dead end paths or help us refrain from wasting our time on useless distractions. The vision in our mind keeps us reenergized to pursue our dream or goal instead quitting the day or year before we would have achieved that vision.

To keep our goal fresh in our mind, we need to visualize it in detail. Nothing is impossible to those who believe. So mentally describe the luxury or the best scenario. One way is on the night of the first and fifteenth drift off to sleep reviewing the goal as clearly as you can. The rest is up to God and our persistence.
