    Thoughts

Thoughts are influenced one of the following: by previous actions, Satan, the Prince of this World, or by the Holy Spirit of Almighty God.

If we associate with liars, cheats and rude person, their thoughts will naturally transfer into our thinking. Our environment often pushes our thinking to match what we are doing.

Then there are evil thoughts strategically placed in our mind by Satan. The Bible plainly states he is real and causes us to follow him instead of God. With our decision and God’s help we can pitch them out and think on good, noble and virtuous things.

The third influence on our thoughts is urges presented to our mind by the Holy Spirit. Sometimes he reminds us of scriptures we have read in the Bible. At other times we are given spiritual opportunities to encourage a certain person, return good for evil or decide for good and right.

So the direction of our thoughts is our decision.
