    Leadership Credentials

Let’s get the negative traits out of the way first. We should not be dependent on chemicals or alcohol. Our attitude should not be quarrelsome. Lastly, we should have a goal to be more than we can achieve but greed should not be part of that vision.

In his first letter to his helper Timothy, St. Paul lists the following (3:1:7). Our reputation should be above reproach. Our temper should stay at a moderate level during stressful situations. Our self-discipline is displayed in self-control when we are unfairly accused. Our associates should enjoy working with us because they respect what we have earned. Since egotism is not controlling us, we should continually extend hospitality. With these traits in force in our lives we should make an excellent manager.

So if we are searching for a future leader or searching for a position for ourselves, let us achieve the above traits to make us a desirable candidate.
