Persistence
Sunday, August 21, 2011 For successful people, giving up or quitting is never an option. Grandma Moses wanted to be an artist all her life. At eighty years of age, she broke into the field and became famous. It is always too early to give up on our dream.
Like she did, let’s be persistent. Keep looking for an answer to that problem at work or a way to our lifetime goal. Who knows which day the ideal solution to that problem will come to mind? Keep our eyes open for opportunities to step a small amount closer to that beautiful goal that is hidden deep in our psyche.
Persistence is fed and encouraged by positive friends. So let’s make definite plan to associate with them. We should intentionally avoid naysayers and negative people.
“Seek and you’ll find.” We need to keep looking for opportunities to work on or locate someone to help us reach our goal. The next step before us may be to just take courage and do it.
Persistence gets a boost when we occasionally check our progress and realize what we have already accomplished toward our goal. Let’s keep our dream in the forefront of our mind.
Successful people are persistent. Remember the fulfillment our lifelong dream is still before us.
