    Our Mental Attitude

As we enter the door to the building at work and feel down and in a griping mood, check it at the entrance. It has no place at work. We actually and adversely affect those near us. As you place your lunch down, pause a moment and visualize having a good and productive day. During next steps toward our desk or work station, begin acting positively. Put on a fake smile and throw our shoulders back. If you can wear that smile for one hour, the smile will soon feel comfortable. You will no longer feel like a hypocrite but will be a positive asset to the company.

The best way to be positive is to accept Jesus Christ as our personal Savior. With God residing within us cheerfulness and acceptance comes naturally. Francis Gardener Hunter, an inspirational speaker, gave this method. Each morning immediately after her eyelids opened she vocally said, “Lord, what fabulous thing are we going to do today?” The rest of her day was spent searching for good she could do or the blessing the Lord for her out there somewhere.

Life wears well when we carry a positive attitude.
