    Visualizing

A concrete goal is mandatory. This will keep us from rationalizing and lowering our vision when we meet a crisis. Like a mountain in the distance, it will not move just become more clear as we near it. The journey to our goal may seem like a lifetime away, but we are closer than yesterday.

When the desire resides in the forefront of our mind, we take a tiny step toward our goal each day. A good practice is to do more than is required of us whether at work or on our goal.

Another help in reaching our goal is to remind ourselves often where we are headed. Place a post-it note on the bathroom mirror then we will see it both at the beginning and the ending of the day. Another good place is in the car. Let’s place the reminder where it will not obstruct our view. Each day as we look at our prayer journal, place a sticker there.

Refuse to think about fear of failure. Remember that with God all things are possible. Ask and we shall receive. In accordance with our faith, it shall be done unto us. The mountain of problems shall be moved if we ask God with full faith and do not doubt.

The book Wake Up and Live by Dorthea Brand has inspired literally thousands. She asks us to act as though it was impossible to fail. Our visualized goal or dream can come true.
