    Take Responsibility for Yourself

Oh, how easy to lay the blame on someone for the consequences to our unwise decisions. Did we begin this habit when we were children? The punishment switched to our brother or sister when we laid the blame on them. As we matured, we learned that short circuiting consequences bring long term punishment. If we take the rewards that belong to others, our tendency is to consider it unimportant and wastefully use it. The side effect is that our employees and friends will see this dishonest move; they will place their trust in another leader.

We are the only one who can change ourselves. That is a responsibility we cannot transfer to anyone in this world. So, our future depends upon our decisions. Start today on the upward trip to success by not blaming others when the situation was our fault.
