Dale Best in Bible, Faith, Jesus, Lord's Prayer, problem solving

In life there are many possible answers to our problems. Some are definite, while many are theories, theorems, legends, or this is the way dad did it. Today, the Bible gives us some proven and guaranteed principles for results.

If we are seemingly judged by everyone we meet or associate with, the fact is, “If we stop judging, others will stop judging us.” The author tried this as a young adult and it worked almost immediately.

Another problem can be quickly solved. When the world seems to be condemning us at every turn, we can remedy that. The moment we stop categorizing and putting people down, they will stop.

The last of the trio is forgiveness. In the Lord’s Prayer, Jesus said if we forgive others God will forgive us (Luke 11:24). So to receive the peace we are seeking we need to forgive others first.

So the three ways to a happier life is don’t judge, don’t put others down by judging them or condemning them. “Don’t pick on people, jump on their failures, criticize their faults—unless, of course, you want the same treatment. Don’t condemn those who are down; that hardness can boomerang. Be easy on people; you’ll find life a lot easier” (Luke 6:37 Msg).
