    Strengths for Success

There are several strengths needed to achieve success. The first one is physical strength. If we constantly sit at a desk or in front of a monitor, our bodies get flabby and weak. It may seem a useless waste of time at the recreation center, but the advantages are real. The blood flow is increased to feed all the thirsty cells throughout our body. The air intake causes us to discharge waste air while supplying our brain with oxygen to invigorate the cells that produce ideas.

Another needed strength is mental strength to push through stagnant thoughts, climb past unfair criticism and negative off-handed comments from thoughtless or jealous people. Our mind needs to stay focused on our goals. The fact is we progress toward our most dominate throughout our week. If they are negative, our movement will be in reverse. After several failures, we could possibly become a trouble-maker causing people to shun us.

Also required is a spiritual strength that keeps our life stable and upright. Keeping love, peace, joy, cheerfulness and kindness up front paves the way to progress. When we are right with God, it is much easier to amicably work with family and co-workers.

So to make constructive steps to our goal, we need physical, mental and spiritual strength.
