    Sell Yourself

From a child we were continually told not to be egotical. Pride is a bad thing in a person. Being stuck on ourselves is a liability.

The fact is, God created us as we grew in our mother, and watched over us ever since that time. We are a special creation of the Lord Almighty, so we need to delete negative words like: I am not, I can’t, it can’t be done. If we work and play with a low self-esteem, others will treat us in accordance with that mindset.

It is right and proper to have a healthy self-appreciation.  A way to step up to a crisis is with a confidence, by using self-talk: if they can pass it, so can I. We can use the little steam engine’s motto: I think I can.

As we walk into a scary situation, visualize yourself as the winner, a champion, or as achieving the top spot. Overcome internal fear with faith that God will see that we are victorious. Our God is all powerful.
