    Triangle Business Plan

CEO Pete Meoli of Geico Insurance Co is leading his company into the future with a simple but workable plan. The first corner of the triangle is listening to the leadership and employees. Many heads with their countless ideas are better than one executive’s static thoughts. Some new ways have great merit, if instituted.

As CEO, it is advantageous to be willing to listen. Some ideas may have little or no merit. One can jot all of them down to analyze later, not make a snap decisions about its use. This activity is the second corner of his triangle to success. It is financially advantageous to use valuable time in daily executive meeting to analyze. As we know, doing the same old thing we are now doing will give us the same old results. So, analyzing new ways will produce profitable results.

The top of the triangle is to actually respond to the positive input of employees and staff. So … change sometimes produces confusion, but with gentle guidance and sincere encouragement it will work. This will produce growth and additional profit.

This business triangle of listening, analyzing and responding will lead the company to outstanding success.
