    Instinct

This quality cannot be learned at college. Our mind collaborates with past experiences. With the synthesis of this, we come up with instinct. Either these mesh and create peace out of the future of the plan, or little inconsistencies surface in our mind, throwing up little red flags and producing disease. All of this occurs on the mental and emotional level. It can’t be entered into a computer, but is essential to our success.

In the book by Steve Jobs: His Own Words and Wisdom says, “It is most important to follow your heart and intuition.” We have been taught that if we don’t heed that notion, the percentage for failure increases. This sage advice comes not from a professor but one who has succeeded in the business.

Let us retrain ourselves to listen to the still small voice or nudge deep within. Mr. Jobs is sure this method will serve us well. Society, friends, and business acquaintances may make disparaging  remarks, but Mr. Jobs used this method to be a world-wide success. Forget friends who are trusting conventional wisdom. Steve Jobs notes that we will give up on our goal each time if we don’t have a burning desire or relentless passion to achieve that goal. So let’s begin, starting now, to listen to and follow our instincts.
