    Charisma

Some people happen to have charisma, a natural aura that attracts others. As you read that you’re probably said, “Not me, I am ordinary.” Well, you be glad to know we can build charisma. The basic ingredient is love. The early followers of Jesus showed love. The town’s people noticed, “Oh, they have been around Jesus because they love everybody.” All are drawn to people who show love to them. So to attain this virtue we should become a Christian and have the love of God abiding in us.

After obtaining love we need to add some other traits. One is compassion. We care about others enough to call them by name and occasionally ask about the problem they are facing. Doing this makes them feel like they are the most important person in our world. This action could be labeled kindness. Charismatic people are gentle. They never govern by force or autocratic rule but entice others to come along with them on their joyful journey through life. Integrity or honesty keeps people coming. This shows then that they can be trusted. Another might be a peace about who they are. This inspires a confidence in the leader with charisma. Confidence begets hope or faith in that person which leads them into the future.

With the help of God each of us can guide others with patience and joy as a charismatic leader. Knowing where you are and do it with self-confidence. We have an ability to easily convince others to do as they wish or to follow them. Seldom does one learn how to achieve this. Most are gifted with this from youth. They may hone ore sharpen this ability. Many leaders, politicians, business leaders have this leadership ability.

John Maxwell says that chrisma is making others feel good about themselves. We enchance that trait when we only find things in the employees and friends to compliment.
