    Trustworthiness

The story goes that George Washington as a child cut down a cherry tree with his trusty new hatchet. When questioned by his father he replied, “I cannot tell a lie. I cut down the cherry tree.” That was an honest character from the 1700 hundreds. We need honest and trustworthy people in our present world.

This truthfulness begins with little things such as: keeping a pen from the office, changing the time a minute or so of when we left a certain place, keeping an overage when we are given change from a purchase, or honestly telling where we were that specific night. The fact is, if we are not honest in little things, we will yield to big temptations, even embezzlement.

So in forming ourselves into a trustworthy person, we need to be ruthless and honest on every word that proceeds from our mouth. As we conquer the small chances to stretch the truth, our reputation will progress to a trustworthy person. Friends and employees will soon come to know we are a person of integrity, honesty, and completely trustworthy.

Trust, honesty, dependability, and integrity are the basic ingredients andcomponents of success. If the company commits something to our care and supervision, they know the results will be good. If we repair or fix it, the product will work excellently each time. Good craftspeople or artisans are always trustworthy.
