    Optimism

Where there is no vision people perish. Hopelessness is a bottomless pit. When one looks out from within a pit, there is nothing but walls and obstructions. Optimism does not grow in a rut or a grave. The only difference between these two is the depth.

Successful people possess the spark of hope. Every chance they get they look ahead and up. They do not dwell on all the reasons it can’t be done. The longer we dwell on the negative the darker and more obscure the goal.

People with a clear goal move forward. Earl Nightingale noted that people move toward their most dominant thought. This can be negative or positive.

As we concentrate on ways to achieve e a great future, we notice helpful things. What we seek or look for we find. If we are not looking for avenues to success, they will pass us by. This has been proven true by many.

So successful people keep their eyes on their goal. A religious person keeps their eyes on their God and His virtues. With our peripheral vision, we we’ll see the rungs to step on to help ascend to our destiny.
