    Look Beyond the Present

The Bible states that where there is no vision the people perish. With no vision for the future, status quo exists. Where would all our entrepreneurs and inventor be without a creative outlook?

The largest deterrent to success is conformity. Ninety to ninety-five percent of us stay with the crowd. Could it be that we have insufficient courage to be different? The five percent who truly succeed in life prove we don’t have to accept an average life.

The limitations to true success are often self-imposed. It is not the lack of cash, insufficient knowledge but the fear of failure. Most millionaires have failed more than once on their way up. Worry is a miniature form of fear. Worry contains enough negative to stunt or curb our thinking. The reverse is true that setting a goal out in front of us becomes a positive power.

In a college graduating class, they asked everyone what their goal for life was. Twenty years later they asked that same question plus asked if they reached it? Only the three percent that wrote down their concrete goal reached it. So today’s homework is to put our goal/dream into concrete terms that we hold on to.
