Aspiration
Sunday, June 12, 2011 Imagine the draftsman who sketched the Empire State Building. Try to feel like the engineer who visualized and worked on the beautiful Hoover Dam. Can you understand the anticipation of the creator of the original Queen Mary?
Successful people have aspirations. Joseph of old had aspirations of being a ruler. His current situation was always filled with criticism, was persecuted, and shamefully mistreated by his brothers. Even Noah, who had aspirations of building a boat big enough to hold a pair of each kind of animal was made fun of by his society.
Once we start the journey to success, we need to keep the flame of hope burning brightly. Both Noah and Joseph worked almost an entire lifetime before God brought their dream to completion. It is easier to keep our faith strong when we remember God is with us and personally guiding us. It will be helpful if we think on or make a step toward our aspiration regularly, preferably each day.
