Creative People
Sunday, May 22, 2011 Successful people are creative. Oh, how easy it is to get into a scheduled routine. There is much less stress doing the same thing almost without thinking. This may conserve energy. Those who get ahead find a better way or more efficient way to handle the office or work area problems. The less efficient people repeat Williams’s law. “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix.” Those who get ahead use the motto, “There is a better way to do it.” In the process of improvement, many labor saving — time reducing inventions have come into daily use.
Our minds were not created to lay still and rest. It is not painful to think and use our minds. Some have even found that working on solving a problem can be stimulating instead of an energy sapping action. Searching for ways to reach a goal can be invigorating. Problems and crises often test the quality of our personality. Hopefully, we think about improvements and better ways enough that we are not stymied by a problem. The only ones, who have no problems, peacefully lie in a marble orchard.
Successful people who follow their creative ideas move ahead of society: Henry Ford and his assembly line, Wright Bros and their plane, Edison and his electric light bulb, Norman V. Peale and his positive thinking, and Dunlap and his rubber tire all moved forward on their creative idea while naysayer nonchalantly stood around.
Today take that creative idea which God gave you and run with it. You are created to be successful.
