Authority
Sunday, November 27, 2011 Authority runs two ways. We can have authority or we can be under someone’s authority. Before being in authority, it is preferable to work under different leadership styles. We learn what hurts our feelings and what type of authority gives us pleasure and encouragement.
Each person is naturally adept at one type of administration. Some can bark commands and be obeyed. Others must be gentle and encouraging with their orders. A few persons can naturally create competition and direct a winning work crew.
Comparing our leadership style against others is destructive. Each of us is unique. Our way is the way that works well for us.
Successful persons learn the basic rules for authority and leadership. They follow the Bible’s golden rule. We are sure that we do to others as we want them to do to us. Our leadership style will then be correct.
