Punctuality
Sunday, October 23, 2011 Being on time to work is a sign we love our job and are eager to tackle the challenges of the upcoming day. The opposite, signing in late, displays a mediocre attitude. The difference is the role model of our executive and an hourly employee who does not see the end result of the company.
Being tardy shows disrespect to the person who hired us. It also tells the employer that making them a profit is not important to you. It also displays our lack of self-discipline.
Successful people enjoy being a role model for all other employees. One does not need be an executive or in management to be a role model. Being glad to be at work on time, fresh and ready has a positive influence on those around us. These role model persons are noticed by management and moved up to more responsible positions.
If all were as punctual and cheerful as we are, would the company grow or remain static?
