Less Regret
Sunday, February 19, 2012 Many of us as teenagers broke the rules of society. These rogue actions haunt us the rest of our lives. The successful person leaves these irresponsible policies. Modern media has society’s consent to dig into anyone’s past and put it on the internet. This is a substantial reason to live an ultraclean life. One way to refrain from irrational decisions, as well as to make positive and acceptable ones, is to keep our eyes on our goal.
Regretful decisions most often come when we decide based on our feelings. A cool mind or one not controlled by anger is the foundation for reaching wise conclusions. Some persons have a quick emotional boiling point or maybe a short fuse to an explosive temper. A good way to lower the threshhold is to realize difficulties will come. We need to keep our aspiration in mind and realize short term setbacks are unimportant and not a sign of failure.
A good asset in reaching our dream and reducing our regrets in to have a sounding board. Several of the presidents of the United States conferred regularly with evangelist Billy Graham. He was well qualified. This pastor had a grasp of the times and a was a world traveler. This saved these presidents from foolish and possibly devastating decisions. Wise decisions reduce times of regret.
