Call to Action is a regular weekly To-Do List that enumerates critical things that you need to do right now to preserve our constitutional rights, protect freedom, and ensure your personal safety.
Reader feedback is welcomed. If you have taken any of these steps, please use the comments function to report on the results. If you are aware of a critical issue that should be included on this list, we would like to hear from you.

Are You Registered?
We are at a critical point in history. It is not hyperbole to state that our very survival as a nation is at stake. It is everyone’s duty to make the minimal effort it takes to vote and shape our destiny as a nation. Even if you don’t normally vote, bear in mind that this year is a critical presidential election with the presidency and control of Congress at stake. Now get this: You will not be able to vote if you are not registered. The registration deadline is fast approaching (as early as October 6 in some states). If you are not sure that you are registered, find out. If you are not registered, do it now.
Now you are registered. Will you be able to go to the polls and vote on election day? If not, you must act now to get your absentee ballot. Online resources are available. The Federal Voting Assistance Program can help military members, their families, and citizens living outside the U.S. The Long Distance Voter website has information on registration, deadlines, and absentee voting.
Next week: Voting Recommendations. Cast your ballot wisely.
- Verify your voter registration.
- If you are not registered to vote, register now.
- Request your absentee ballot.
